Mushaf TV Privacy Policy
Altara Innovation Group built the Mushaf TV application as a free and subscription-based Android TV application. This Service is provided by Altara Innovation Group and is intended for use as is.
Payments and Subscriptions
All payments and subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment card details. We use RevenueCat as our primary service provider to manage subscription states, validate purchases, and ensure your premium access is active across your devices.
Usage Data and Identifiers
To provide a reliable experience and manage our trial offers, our Service processes persistent identifiers. This data is stored on our backend servers and through our service providers:
- Device identifiers (such as App Set ID, Firebase Installation ID, or Android device identifier): We collect and store these identifiers on our secure backend.
- Trial Enforcement: Because we do not use a login system, your 3-day free trial status is tied directly to your Device Identifier. This allows us to verify if a device has already used a trial period and prevents unauthorized multiple trials on the same hardware.
- Google Advertising ID (AD_ID): This is processed via RevenueCat and Firebase SDKs to to facilitate purchase validation, and fraud prevention.
- Technical Data: We use Firebase and Google Analytics to collect device models and OS versions to ensure app stability and performance on different Android TV hardware.
Analytics and Diagnostics
We utilize third-party services to monitor performance and manage the service lifecycle:
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase lifecycle.
- Firebase Analytics & Google Analytics: To understand app usage and improve feature sets.
- Firebase Crashlytics: To collect “Log Data” (such as device IP and crash traces) when the app encounters an error.
Data Sharing and Security
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- Internal Storage: Device IDs used for trial tracking are stored on our infrastructure managed via Firebase/Google Cloud.
- Third-Party Sharing: Data is shared with Google and RevenueCat strictly to operate the service and manage billing.
- Security: We use industry-standard encryption to protect data in transit and at rest.
Data Retention and Deletion
Mushaf TV does not require a user account (email/password). Your trial and subscription status are tied directly to your Device Identifier.
Automatic Deletion: To protect user privacy and minimize data storage, our backend system is configured to automatically delete device records after 90 days of inactivity or following the conclusion of the service period.
Manual Requests: Although account creation is not required, users who wish to request the manual removal of their device identifier from our backend before the 90-day period may contact us at info@altara.id.
User Rights (UU PDP Indonesia)
In accordance with the Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app removal tool or contact us at info@altara.id.
Links to Other Sites
The Mushaf TV app does not contain links to third-party websites or external services.
Any third-party services used by the app (such as analytics, crash reporting, or payment processing) operate in the background and are used solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. These services do not expose users to external websites through the app interface.
Children’s Privacy
Mushaf TV is designed for families and users of all ages. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all our viewers, especially children.
Data Collection Limits: The app does not display advertising and does not collect personal information from children beyond what is necessary for app functionality (such as trial tracking) and analytics (to ensure the app performs well on family devices).
Parental Peace of Mind: We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. All data processed is primarily technical in nature (Device Identifiers) and is used strictly to provide and improve the Service.
Contact Us: If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have inadvertently processed information from a child under 13, please contact us at info@altara.id so we can take immediate action to delete that data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
